My Role
Built the Korea-specific TunisiaTrip platform adapting the existing Next.js and NestJS architecture to support full Korean language localisation. Implemented Korean content management workflows, adapted the booking system for Korean payment preferences, and ensured all UI text and navigation followed Korean UX conventions.
Challenges & Solutions
The main challenge was adapting the platform's content architecture to handle Korean text rendering and right-to-left layout considerations unique to Korean web conventions, while reusing the shared PostgreSQL database and NestJS API. This required implementing Korean-specific typography handling, adapting date and currency formatting, and ensuring proper UTF-8 encoding across all content layers.
