My Role
Developed the full-stack application using React for the frontend and Node.js with MongoDB for the backend. Built the comprehensive search and filtering engine, implemented the tourism content management system, and integrated real-time booking APIs with local service providers.
Challenges & Solutions
The main challenge was designing a flexible search and filtering system that could handle the diverse range of tourism categories—from hotels to medical stays to traditional craftsmanship—while maintaining fast query performance in MongoDB. This was solved by implementing a dynamic query builder with indexed text search and category-specific aggregation pipelines.
